A Lansweeper alternative — for the fleet the free tier leaves behind.
Most people arrive here for one reason: Lansweeper is free up to 100 assets, and the next step up already includes 2,000. If you have 300 machines, you are paying for 2,000. GuardifAI is a different kind of tool — maintenance, not discovery — and whether it is the right answer depends entirely on which half of Lansweeper you actually use. This page is mostly about that.
Why people look
Lansweeper’s pricing page, read on 21 September 2026, lays out the gap plainly. The free tier covers 100 assets. The first paid plan, Starter, is listed at “From $239 per month, billed annually” and includes 2,000 assets. Pro is “From $439 per month, billed annually”, also starting at 2,000 and expanding to 9,000. Asset licences, the page notes, are not stackable.
So there is nothing between 100 and 2,000. A company with 250 machines pays the same entry price as one with 2,000 — and “From” means that figure is a floor, not a quote. That is the whole reason this comparison gets searched.

What GuardifAI covers of the use case
Inventory of the machines you manage
Hardware, disk, battery, installed state and performance on every enrolled Windows device, with the evidence behind each verdict. If what you used Lansweeper for was “what do we have and what shape is it in”, for machines you administer, this covers it. The inventory is on the paid plans; the free plan shows the health of each machine.
The maintenance Lansweeper was only reporting on
Windows updates and app updates through winget actually applied, Microsoft Defender kept on and scanning, and one deduplicated alert when a machine needs a person. An inventory tool tells you a machine is behind; this one also does something about it.
Grouping by client or site
Every machine of every client in one dashboard, grouped — see the page for people who look after other people’s machines.
A price that matches a small fleet
Free to start, then per device — you pay for the machines you have, with no band you have to grow into.
Where GuardifAI does not replace Lansweeper
This is the important half of the page, and it is written as what we lack, not as a swipe. If any of these is why you run Lansweeper, GuardifAI will not do the job and you should keep it.
Network discovery
GuardifAI does not discover anything. A machine exists to it only after somebody installs the agent on that machine. Scanning a subnet to find what is out there — the thing an asset-management product is built around — is not a feature here, at any tier.
Agentless scanning
There is no agentless mode. If a device cannot take a Windows agent, it cannot be covered, and no credentials-based scan fills the gap.
Non-Windows assets
No Macs, no Linux, no printers, no switches, no VMs you do not manage, no phones. Windows PCs, laptops and servers only. An estate inventory that has to include the network gear is not this tool.
The short version: if you use Lansweeper to know what exists on a network, GuardifAI does not replace it. If you use it to keep an eye on Windows machines you already administer — and were frustrated that knowing was all it did — that is the overlap.

Common questions
Can GuardifAI find the machines on my network?
No. There is no discovery and no agentless scan. A device is covered once its agent is installed, and not before. If finding unknown devices is the requirement, this is the wrong tool.
We have 300 assets. What changes?
You pay per device instead of entering a band that includes 2,000. Whether that is the right trade depends on whether you need discovery and non-Windows coverage, which GuardifAI does not have.
Does it cover our switches and printers?
No. Windows PCs, laptops and servers, and nothing else.
Can we run both?
Yes, and for some fleets that is the honest answer: one tool to know what exists across the estate, another to keep the Windows machines current and healthy.
Try it on your own machines.
Free, no card, and enough to see whether it covers your case before anything changes.
