I already have Microsoft Defender. Why would I pay for GuardifAI?

Because Defender doesn’t maintain itself, and it does nothing beyond antivirus. GuardifAI keeps it on and updated, and takes care of updates, startup and hardware health.

How is this different from a PC “cleaner”?

GuardifAI doesn’t clean files or promise a magic PC. It does the concrete work: updates applied, startup under control, health watched.

How does it compare to hiring an IT provider?
