This page lists exactly what the GuardifAI agent collects from your Windows computers, what it never reads, how that data travels, and what GuardifAI can and cannot do on your machines.

What the agent collects

Technical data about each machine, sent to GuardifAI so you can see its health in your dashboard:

  • Machine identity: computer name, manufacturer, model and serial number; Windows version, edition and build.
  • Hardware: processor, memory modules, disks (including model and serial number), graphics card, network adapters (including MAC address), TPM and Secure Boot status, battery capacity and wear.
  • Health and performance: processor, memory and disk usage, temperatures, and disk health (SMART).
  • Installed programs: name, version, publisher, install date and install folder of each program.
  • Startup programs: what opens with Windows, including the Windows user name for entries that belong to a single user.
  • Updates: which Windows updates are pending, and the result of the ones applied.
  • Network: latency, DNS response time, traffic per network adapter, and the numbers of the ports open on the machine.
  • Security state: whether Microsoft Defender protection and the Windows firewall are on.

What the agent never reads

The agent has no code that reads the contents of your files, documents, photos or emails, your browsing history, what you type, or what is on your screen.

How the data travels

  • Everything the agent sends to GuardifAI is encrypted in transit (TLS).
  • The agent updates itself, and every update is signed.

What GuardifAI can do on your machines

  • No remote desktop, no remote shell. The dashboard can only trigger a fixed set of maintenance actions: Windows and app updates, Microsoft Defender, startup programs, and health scans.
  • It never restarts a machine on its own. When an update needs a restart, the person at the keyboard chooses: now, with a 60-second countdown, or in three hours.
  • Automation is opt-in, and any machine can be left out.
  • GuardifAI doesn’t replace your antivirus — it makes sure Microsoft Defender is always on, always updated, and actually scanning. And if anything turns it off, you’ll know in minutes.

Alerts

  • Alerts show up in your dashboard, in plain language, and are marked resolved when they resolve.
  • You can dismiss any recommendation or alert.

Your data

  • We do not sell your data.
  • Want your account and its data deleted? Ask us, and we’ll delete it.
