Anatomy of the shield
Outer ring — antivirus, operated
Keeps Microsoft Defender on, with current definitions, scanning. Detects within minutes if anyone or anything turns protection off.
Inner ring — updates
Windows and everyday apps (browser, PDF reader and other common software) updated in the background, with the restart waiting for your OK.
Base — restart with consent
Never restarts on its own. It asks: now, with a 60-second countdown, or in three hours.
The eye — machine health
Tracks disk, battery, temperature, memory and slowdown beyond normal, and suggests an upgrade only when the data shows it’s worth it.
The pulse — alerts
When the trace changes, you get a plain-language alert with the evidence. One per problem; once resolved, it clears itself.
