A NinjaOne alternative — narrower, and priced in public.
GuardifAI does one job: it keeps Windows machines current, protected and healthy, on its own. NinjaOne is a platform, sold through a quote. If you need the breadth of a platform, this is not a substitute and the rest of this page explains exactly where it stops. If what you actually needed was the maintenance, with a price you can read without talking to anyone, that is the case for looking.
Why people look
NinjaOne does not publish its full pricing, and says why on its own pricing page, read on 21 September 2026: “we don’t publicly list our full pricing. The reason is we don’t want to interfere with how our partners are pricing their services or negatively impact their margin in any way.” It does publish a range — “as low as $1.50 USD per month at 10,000 endpoints, increasing to $3.75 USD at 50 or fewer endpoints; pricing varies by region and products purchased.”
That is a coherent decision for a partner-led business, and it also means a small fleet cannot evaluate the cost without a sales conversation. The free option is a 14-day trial. For someone with forty machines and no interest in a call, the search for an alternative starts there.

What GuardifAI covers of the use case
The unattended maintenance
Windows updates and app updates through winget applied on their own, Microsoft Defender kept enabled, updated and scanning, device health watched continuously — with one deduplicated alert when a person is actually needed.
Several clients on one screen
Machines grouped by client in a single dashboard, with inventory and a verdict per device on the paid plans.
A price on the page
Free to start, and a published per-device price. No quote, no call, no minimum.
Restarts that ask first
Never automatic: the machine asks, and the person chooses now or in three hours.
Where GuardifAI does not replace a platform
Written as what we lack. This list is long on purpose — “narrower” is the entire proposition, and a narrower tool is only honest if it says where the edge is.
Remote control
There is no remote session. You cannot take over a machine, watch a user’s screen or run an interactive troubleshooting session from the dashboard.
Ticketing and service desk
No tickets, no queues, no SLAs, no client portal. Alerts go to you; what you do with them happens somewhere else.
Backup
GuardifAI does not back anything up. None of what it does protects data — it protects the state of the machine.
Scripting and arbitrary automation
No script library and no custom automation you author. The routine is the routine.
Anything that is not Windows
No Mac, no Linux, no mobile, no network devices.
If more than one of those is on your requirements list, a platform is the right answer and the comparison ends there. GuardifAI is for the case where the requirements list is short and the machines still need somebody watching them.

Common questions
Can I remote into a machine from GuardifAI?
No. There is no remote control session of any kind.
Does it handle tickets from my clients?
No. There is no service desk, no queue and no client portal.
Why is there a published price here and not there?
NinjaOne states the reason on its own pricing page: it sells through partners and does not want to affect their margin. That is a legitimate model; it just makes self-evaluation harder for a small fleet.
What if I need more than maintenance?
Then a platform is the right answer. This page would rather tell you that than win an evaluation it cannot serve.
